Local CL find I couldn't pass up. Very original Murray built Higgins down to the Sears Allstate tires and Comet coaster. I believe the seat is the only add on.. not quite sure on that though. Its missing the fender light. Can someone post a pic of the light that would have been on this fender??
These are the CL pictures. This thing looks like it sat still most of its life. I got it home late last night so I haven't checked out the serial numbers yet (other than to make sure they weren't ground off). I'm guessing late 60's.

I've had slightly older ones (same frame/chainguard) with the fuller colorflow (jet flow maybe?) style tank on them (but not actual colorflows) had a jc higgins specific delta rocket ray, being a little bit later I would guess a torpedo or winner style lamp was up front, just guessing though. Kind of like this one

No idea on that critter, without having catologs to look at and know the year of the bike I wouldnt know what to tell ya. Does it look like it may of had a truss bracket or frame knocks where the trusses would touch the frame ? 50's to 60's they seemed to be pumping out all sorts of "trim" level combinations.

JC Higgins only were made to 1963, then they were all badged Sears. I think you can get the right year by the serial numbers.

JCH was Sears' entire sporting goods line, including rifles and luggage! And the name wasn't used in the catalogs after 63, aside from some 90s "reissues". The telltale number is usually a 4-6 digit #. The first code is "MOD 502", and the next number is the catalog #, so, many bikes can be matched to a particular year in the catalog. -Adam
