JC Higgins ID help, please

Might be a lost cause, but I'm trying to figure out the year of my JC Higgins shown in my profile pic. MOD# 502 46752, Serial# 834926.
It has gold and blue paint on the chain guard and blue/orange paint on the fenders. The plate on the gooseneck says MADE IN USA.
Any guidance is appreciated. I've never been a part of any forums before, so if you want to advise me on protocol or how to upload pictures, I would be a receptive student.

It's in the '61 Sears catalog, originally equipped with chrome fenders and blue finish, sold for $28.99. Made by Murray. -Adam
