Bill Walton, old guy, into bikes, lived as a kid during the '70s; he's the guy! I could see him riding that King Ray!

FREAKING "SUPER KRATE"!

No fab time recently but some updates none the less.

Custom sprockets from Gear Head Customs. 85t and 32t both custom cut to the mag style.

Thought I was going to get lucky with these grips I found online... unfortunately they are kid sized so it looks like my kids are getting some cool grips...

Also got the chrome 36er fenders in the mail. With these and the chainrings I can dial in the chainline and clearances. They will both need to be bobbed and modified a little bit.

Those sure are some tiny gas tanks :D

Oh Heck...are you building a Musclebike/Tallbike? With a Springer to boot?

(pastes an '11' on his Cool Dial). :praise::praise::praise::praise:

Fork work today! Started out with making a nice burly pivot on the steer tube. Keeping everything lined up.

All welded up.

Over engineered the fork pivots as well.

I mocked up the forks to check the trail and just couldn't help myself from slapping it all on there!

Once I had double checked it was time for all the little bits to make the rest of the fork.

That fork is almost there. Looking good!

This may be one of the coolest videos ever posted on RRB.
Here is a screenshot I took of it. The ride geometry actually looks pretty nice.
Just insane!!!
BRAVO BROTHER!!!!

I would be utterly TERRIFIED to ride that thing! It reminds me too much of my 7-year-old self on a $10 adult male Schwinn...who wasn't scared at all oddly enough...

Sigh. I'm old. :(

Still young enough to be a little jealous of you though...love the design! :inlove:
