This nickel plated plate was on a Westfield wood rim fixed gear. I took the bike apart in 1964 and it's still in pieces.
 
Here's one from my Electra rat (it's a scanned and Photoshopped print of a dif plate)

and one from my bike in the "Anything Goes" build-off bike. It's a metal plate that was yellow on blue, so I painted it.

This was on my '60 Sears 24" back in '61 or '62 when they started the plate system. Ive seen them numbered in the thousands but they don't seem to do it anymore.

Should have had #3 but I had to fill out more paperwork and got #18. My younger brother got #6 and later that day my sister got #77. I also have #300.
