Here's my girlfriends new shiny rat, my first attempt at metalflake.
Started with this, the shady lady.

very nice! what did you use?

metal flake paint? or did you add some flaking stuf on top of paint and respray?
 
I used lil daddy roth trippin flake, "Juicy Pink" flavor, rattle can clear, a salt shaker, and a lot of time. It probably could have used another twenty coats of clear but I got impatient.
 
You've got one sweet bike there, now you need some of electra's pink wall tires to make it all girl. Great job on the paint!
 
never thought of using a salt shaker. so i asume you used some sort of pink base then shook the flake on. i know the secret to good flake is how much clear you use. did you sand every so often, or just coat and coat till it looked flat?
