I found this paint at a local art supply shop. It's kind of expensive (about $9 a can) but it claims to not need a primer coat , has virtually no overspray and has the twice the coverage of most spray paint. Plus it comes in about 200 colors. Has anyone tried it? I'm planning to try it for my next project.

Do you know if it is the Spanish or German Montana? The Spanish is better. Either way it was designed for "aerosal art" also known as graffitti. I've never used it for bikes but somebody here has and probably will chime in. High pressure cans full of thick paint high in pigment with low pressure valves. That means it sprays nice and covers better than anything I've ever used.

I haven't used the gold or a metallic, but I have used the guacamole green on abs plastic and on a boys western flyer I'm restoring, and no primer was used, clean the surface and go for broke. The local shop sprayed it on a piece of plexiglass which is almost a sealed surface and they couldn't get it off without a stripper, and it was the Spain product line. I've heard the same that the Spain products are a better line.
