I acquired a handful of miscellaneous parts from a former stingray collector. Three of the wheels are approximately 18" in diameter and I can read "Schwinn s-5" stamped into one rim so far. After checking Sheldon Brown's charts, I decided they must take 22"tires. The charts also mention "Rare juvenile size...Schwinn". I have no need for them but they have sparked my curiosity. What bicycles were these found on?

I had a friend bring me a Schwinn Enduro that ran 22" wheels.

This is Gold Street Customs' pic, I deleted all the ones I had.

S-5 Schwinn rims are for 20", 24" or 26" x 1 3/8" tires.

I'll bet a wink smilie + 2 Mr. Greens it's 20"x1 3/8".

20x1 3/8 makes sense and I don't have one to try and mount it. I bet a fastback owner will notice this eventually and chime in but I'm sure I haven't stumbled upon a mysterious Schwinn rim size. Although it sure was mysterious to me!
