My GF purchased some old letters off eBay (to do art on) and one of the letters is very interesting...

That's pretty cool and they mention the Chainless bike that my antique bike guy has. Amazing when you stop to think of what it took to do business back then. No internet, No phone, all done through regular mail. And we get upset waiting a week for something we order. Think about it, guy says "I want the the latest racing bike". Dealer fires off a letter. It akes 2 weeks to get there. 2 weeks to build bike, 2-3 weeks to ship by train, then dealer prep ect. Amazing stuff.

80 cent handlebars and $1-$3 saddles. Pretty sweet.
