Hi all, new to this site although I have been lurking for awhile now, I just sold my old mountain bike and bought a (don't laugh) Genesis Onyx 29 from Wally world so that I might give this style of riding a try without breaking the bank. If this proves to be something that works for me I will upgrade to something more classic etc.
I'm in the Chicagoland area and am just looking to ride in comfort at a leisurely pace to lose some weight and have a little fun as there are a ton of bike paths in this area.
I hope to see some of you out there.
