Welcome! Your bike looks like a reformed BRATZ! My son has one also and he like's your idea of a 'handbrake' for the rear brake! And have you took the spring out of the forks to kick the front out more? We are loving the rust so might give the new one we just bought the same treatment wont take long in our country here is a pic of my lads....

welcome, fellow uk member. brat rods as they appear to have been named seem to be the most popular basis for lowriders over here, and another has joined the ranks. i built one and it rode ok, but as with yours the rust got at it! loving the paint by the way.
