Been messing with bicycles off and on for most of my life. While riding recreationally I bought a new Raleigh in 1984 and a Bianchi in 1985. 1986 I was introduced triathlon and started bicycling many miles and needed upgrades. 1987 I purchased a Centurion Dave Scott Ironman Triathlon and this bike saw many upgrades for five years...yada yada yada...Retired in 2008 and started buying bicycles and casually riding them. Found I liked Rat Bikes and started buying frames forks parts and wheels and putting them together. Fun and not too expensive. The best part is building and riding bikes that don't have to have great paint and matching parts. I do like beautiful bikes, Micargi Rover LX that rides a looks great, but don't have to have it. Looking forward to see the bikes and share the information on Rat Rod Bikes.
