Howdy,

I just joined after finding a thread here in a google search. I'm from CT and building my first tall bike. I was given the chance to ride one during New Haven Bike Party and the second I climbed on I knew I had to have one.

The frame consists of two vintage raleigh men's frames I scored off craigslist for $5 each, and I'm mostly buying new components because I intend for this to be a regular ride for me.

Just wanted to check in and say hey. I'll be lurking around the builds section for a while.

Very cool man! Welcome to the site! I have wanted a tall bike for awhile....

Welcome ,from fellow Nutmegger,in West Haven. I have built a 3 tier bike w/o welding and was quite the star round a
state park on holidays.
My current 2 tier tall bike appears on a NERRB ride in Northampton,Mass.
My I suggest you pay attention to how far back your seat is and don't go past your rear hub. Otherwise your bike will want...
no, it will flip ! See you at Dudley swap
this Sunday coming up ? Best source for
parts cheap. I'll be at blue van...Stevil

Awesome! Thanks for the tip on seat position, I'll check that out today. I'm very familiar with West haven, my wife grew up there. I don't know anyting about this swap, or NERRB, so off to google I go!

Just check the Events forum here.

Welcome aboard!

NERRB stands for New England Rat Rod Bicycles: here is our Bike Clubs link below

As Stevil has mentioned, when you go to the Events link you’ll see the rides we go on, they are prefaced with NERRB then the ride name, date and location.
