I've been working on designing some knitted seat covers trying to get some ideas. I've been doing a lot of trial and error.

This is the first one I designed, I was using a slightly thinner yarn and wasn't the ultimate result in coverage that I wanted.

Second one, much better, solid color is okay and I got kind of a lace pattern going on with this.

And this here the third one I was working on using 3 varigated yarns put together, makes it look colorful. I did a drop stitch technique on the sides and worked with a tassel effect.

So what do you peeps think, do you think you or your other halves would be interested in this kind of thing? I'm going to keep making different ones as I already have 4 sold and I want them to have different seat covers to choose from since they did not give me any preference. So I should have some available for trade or sale. I'm going to move on to the next project in designing a colorful skirt guard or two.

I think they are neat. Not sure if I would use one, but I do think its a cool idea. Kind of reminds me how when I was a kid everyone seemed to have a crocheted blanket over the back or arm of their sofa.

So Funny thing is there's no knitting patterns for bicycle seat covers so its a free realm. There are crochet seats, but I think crochet stitch is ugly. Its just a lot of hooking.
I'm working closer and closer to doing color work novelty soon.
I personally wanted more of a girly embelishment to my ugly squishy seat that resembles buttocks. Thus is why I was mentioning the other half phrase. Or daughters. But once I get into the novelty stuff, there might be interest in it. Skulls, Wolfman, Magic 8 ball, etc.
