Well how about this, I made an elongated U-bracket for a set of V-brakes as I'm running a 24" rim on a 26 straight BMX style fork.

Drilling a bolt hole, or welding it? Why not attach the pivots directly to the fork blades? Not recommending anything, just curious. :|

The mounts I had were hacked off the same bikes frame but I didnt want to mod the forks in case it didnt work or I get a set of disc hubs, my actual goal. I'm going to drill a top center hole and center bolt it. I may have to bolt or clamp the sides depending on flex. And questions are always good, stirs the thinking pot.
