questions on my bike

OK, I have a week off from work coming up, and I was thinking about doing a few things to my bike.
I am going to make a suicide shifter for it ,finish a head light I have been working on and at least re hang the fenders.

I kind of like the look of it the way it is, but since I spayed my wifes bike I am kind of thinking I should pull mine apart and glass bead and spray it too

to paint or not to paint, that is the question
