Rack question

This rack came on a Murray built Higgins girls bike. I was planning on straightening out this "bent rack" but I'm noticing no signs of wrinkles or tweaks. It seems odd to me that this would be a factory bend. Seems more like someone's big but was riding on it!

So can someone tell me if this is a factory bend or not??

Ive seen straight and bent, but I always just assumed the bent was from passengers :lol:

Bent looks weird, but I just bead blasted it and all signs point toward it being a factory pressing.

no..bent. Lay it flat, stand on the ends. Tap the sides. It will flatten out. The offset bends absorb the flex. It should be on a flat plane,honest.....
Use a set of sheet metal duck-billed visegrips. They come in handy straightening fender edges,too.
