Raleigh tires

I've been keeping an eye out for a Raleigh for a while and suddenly I have 4 of them. I have 3 Sprites which need tires. If I recall correctly, Raleighs have special tires. Is there a special designation that I should be looking for like with some of the Schwinn rims? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

27 x 1 1/4 is a pretty standard size.

Typical Raliegh 3spd use a 26 x 1 3/8" tire (E.A.3) 590 mm Bead Seat Dia.

As said that tire size in the pic is fairly common size. Sheldon Brown has a pretty good page on sizing. http://sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html
