My buddy's shop, North Country Vintage and Custom in North Conway New Hampshire, and my shop Dead City Choppers (formerly Rat City Rods) in Berlin New Hampshire (not listed here) have been closed now for a few years, but if you're in the North Conway area, the many bicycle shops in town are all "rat friendly" and some of the shops even have a few vintage bikes for sale in the show room, so be sure to stop in and say hi to them if you're cruisin' through the valley!

Greg tells me that I bring him all the interesting work, like my current Raleigh Twenty bottom bracket conversion.
Lots of odd-ball parts - good service - Greg is one of those guys you want to know.

Check out Planetary Cycles. Ask for Danny. Not much in used parts, but there are 15-20 vintage bikes in the store most days. Some are hung up and display only and some are for sale.

Run by Lance Spradlin:
A Schwinn addict in his own right, hes noted for charging what he feels is fair based on the customer and not the "True Value" of the part/s or labor in question.
A local face with enough ties to be a local name known. Also runs the yearly Beja Bike Bash bicycle show and swap in Green Bay, WI.

I'm fortunate to have a close tie to him and his work for not only a friend but a place I can go and feel welcome with or without a saddle under me as I pull up to the familiar shop.
