For my next build, I'm thinking of going with a classic flat black powdercoat along with some chrome accents, red rims, and whitewall tires. Was wondering though, where do you guys get the red rims? I know some of you get them powdercoated or painted, and I saw that Nirve has some reds for sale tho they look like a light red and not that deep red. Anywhere else to get them or is this it? Thanks!

I think if you already have laced wheels, you shouldn't disassemble them, but instead mask off the spokes with the "straw method". Basically cut a slit down the straws long ways and tape them over the spokes. There should be a tutorial about it somewhere

I didn't even un-lace mine, paint doesn't stick to chrome very well so I just sprayed them and took a razor blade to clean the spokes after. Also the over spray isn't that noticeable.

and just did these in blue for another build.
