shes an old hawthorne, dont know what year or any other details. I just love to ride her whenever i can.I recovered the seat and put on a nexus 3 speed so my knees dont scream at me.

It looks like a western flyer but who cares it ooozzzing with koollness

A Cleveland Welding bike? Can't beat that. I wish mine had the original paint, but it was taken down to bare metal before repainting. If you have the original sprocket and can read the serial number on the bottom bracket, someone here may know what year it is.

Flipped her over today and took a look and the numbers are A56899. heres some more pictures of the paint showing threw

I love this bike. It is pretty much the same as my CWC Pilot. The patina is similiar on my fenders, except mine seems to be rougher than your's. Still yet, even with all the bikes I have that in better shape, I love the look of the CWC as much as any of them.

Looking at your bike has inspired me to put white tires on the old rusty Columbia I just picked. I love the look of the red rims and white tires! Love that springer too!

Love the tank on your cwc, I have been looking for one for mine but i think im just going to try to make one. With nothing better to do on this rainy day I made the empty shell of a light I found at a store full of random stuff work today

and fabbed up this headlight bracket today, its made from the rear brake rod of an old kx250 I used to have, I didnt like the cheapness of the stamped steel one it came with

maybe tomorrow I will throw together the spaceliner frame out in my shop for the fun of it. This rain drives me mad sometimes.

All the way to the side, but it works and gets used alot.

Cool head badge. What size screws did you use to hold that in place? Have you had issues with it becoming loose? I have a rusty old bottle opener I'm thinking of replacing my head badge with.

At first i tried some machine screws but I couldn't get them to hold tight with use so I tried some huge pop rivets I had in the shop and they haven't come loose yet and they have a nice flush fit. Only problem I had was I had to grind them down a little bit on the inside of the headtube but it wasn't that hard with a die grinder. She also got a skiptooth driveline today. Sadly I ordered the wrong size cog for the nexus 3 speed I have on it so I just ground down every other tooth on the stock cog till I get a nine tooth instead of the ten tooth I ordered. I should of measure twiced and ordered once.
