I sold one awhile back fro $300 shipped allI wanted to do was sell the rear drum brake wheel and a guy offered me the money for the complete bike!

you're right, after looking better at it, you can still read some very faded letters on the chainguard that say Schwinn Cruiser, cool. Thanks.

Did tou check the ser.# yet? I had an 80 w/exact same seat, did exactly what yours did. I was happy, it was'nt a comfy seat to begin with! Clean that one up and ride it like you stole it, cuz YOU DID! Nice score! :mrgreen:

i had an 81 cruiser 5, but it had rim brakes, otherwise same exact bike and one of the best riding bikes ive had too ! love the 5 speed gearing for cruisin around town
