Well it was another fun time with all the cool and innovate bikes and builders!! :D :D
Can't help but put up a lot of pics again because it's a fun bike

My Build off thread
viewtopic.php?f=75&t=72106&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Started with this $20 pre war Shelby Supreme that I found with FIL

Ended up with a Path Racer for River Road (Post this pic please)

This build off was even more fun because I got to make my first idea, Flat Black and White
and give it away to my Great Nephew J, and then build one for myself :D

The Path Racer has:
Columbus Italian Road bike fork
FSA BB with Sugino cranks set and MKS stream pedals
Black hubs/spokes, PBR rims with red alloy spoke nipples
Alloy modern seat post/saddle with solid aluminum round stock attached
Bontrager Hank 2.2" back slick, Specialized Fat boy 1.25" front slick
Frame is bare metal polished a ridiculous amount  but it's shiny :D

I like the way they dipped the frame in braze so it almost looks like frame darts

"S" is for Shelby, Supreme, and Steve (and not Schwinn  )

"Copied" lots of cool others with the bare metal and black wheels
Like the way the frame reflects and pops against them

It rides nice and straight and is down to 25.6 lbs so it's easy to just cruise no handed :D

Couple of industrial shots on the way home today, got about 50 miles on it so far

Like how the sky shines off the frame even in the shadows

It's so cool there are so many more cool bikes now on the road because of this contest :D :D
I know I won't be able to post more pics  so stay tuned...
Thanks for looking and all the fun mixing it up on the threads
Steve

I like the mix of old and new parts on this bike along with the bare steel look. The lines of the Shelby frame give it a timeless look. Good job.

love your building style steve! :D your bikes are always minimal, straight to the point and have wheel/tire combinations that scream "hot rod".really great work.

I know this one will get a lot of miles (as do all of your builds).
I bet FIL and DOFIL are proud.
Excellent execution once again buddy!!
See you at DQ!

Great job Steve, the bare frame looks awesome with all the black parts.
