Speedster survivor

[Biggdaddy]

Picked up this 1977 speedster Lg frame for a song today. After replacing the missing chain and seat (the rest of the bike is all original down to the tires and tubes) and rebuilding the rear hub. Then a quick ten min. clean up and took this baby for a ride. Still trying to decide wether to keep it in my collection or let it go.

Plenty of tall guys looking for "king size" middleweights. This should be a sought after bike too. The single speed lightweights have such a clean look imo. I have a couple of 3 speed speedsters, small and smaller. Seems most were 3 speeds.

You are right, that is in great shape!
It'd be a shame to break it up to build a fixie out of it.
