Ok I'm bored and I had this front wheel off of an old
Honda three wheeler. I had trashed the rest of it. Anyway
i decided that it could be used for something. I had my fab
buddy build me a couple parts where I could put a sprocket
on it.

Ok that worked pretty good so now I have a cool big wheel with
a sprocket on it.

Now having a big wheel with a sprocket ,is just a start. A guy down
down the street gave me a 125cc Honda three wheeler. It had been
sitting in his back yard for the last 20 years. I took the fork, front wheel
and the neck off.

So now I have a pretty good start on something totally goofy. Bought some 1'' schedule 40
pipe today. Sold my good bender, and only have that HF hydraulic one. It only does pipe.
So I started bending some and this is where I got to today.

Now I can build a pretty good bike frame, but am no mini bike builder.but
hey its all for fun. Will post more as I get more done.

Thanks I appreciate it. I'm having a hard time not
making this look like a bike. Old habits are hard to
break.

Walker just wanted to waste a little time and money.
Probably won't use this but it keeps me off the street.
Deorman I'm pretty limited to what a HF hydraulic bender
will bend. It wouldn't do two 90's close to each other. I
had to bend two and weld them together. I miss my JD2
bender.
Oh yeah just turned 64 this month. Seems pedals and young
women are both becoming useless to me.

I like it.

Every mini bike I've ridden has been so small it hurt to ride and there is always a kid that wants to ride along so I think your doing good making it a bit longer.

Luke its every kids dream to build a mini bike. I could have
built one a bunch of times and never did. I have absolutely
no use for this and no place to ride it. Of course needing
something has never been high on my list of reasons to get
something. I think it will turn out cool and maybe I can find a
use for it. Maybe build a garbage can holder on the back.

Too late to make it two wheel drive??

I remember those scooters that were 2 wheel drive. I can
figure out lots of things, but how they do that ,I have no clue.
This is just for fun, I doubt that it will get much use.

so this is where you've been hiding old man!:p glad to see your still keeping busy and tinkering around. that's shaping up to be quite the maxi-bike. I`ll be checking back on ya.

I was in Houston the other day. I started to run by your house
but figured you were working. Good to hear from you. Hope
your doing ok.

Looks like the front drum brake is going to
clean up good. Got the rim cleaned too. Will
look pretty good when its painted. Man you need
one of those Jaws Of Life the firemen use to get
a tire off a rim that has been sitting 20 years.
Did order a new front tire. Its a little smaller. I
hope it works.
