I had to cut the tabs off the rocker arms they wouldn't sit flat agents the fork . There not the proper ones but in true Rat fashion I will have to make it work .

I gave the old Bendix a gas bath & got it cleaned up nicely. I didn't do any clean to the out side of it kept the aged looking.

I also like to use high temp grease when regressing.

I missed some updates, looks like some good progress. Dig the skirts as they are.

To add to the compliments, I like the skirts in that position too, now they look more like 'vents'

Keep this cool build going bro!

Thanks man yes I plan on getting this one done on time . Not a week late like the ORBO .... Been working on collecting parts for this one for a year a little at a time . Like I said some of my favorite parts . Well at least ones that weren't over the top expensive. This ant no Blue Bird it's a Swamp Dog !

Put some tires on the ol dog . It's the first time I've seen it out in the light . I still have a front fender to put on it . Not sure if theses are the bars I will be using . I have another crusty set in hiding I will show off later . So far petty happy with the look .

G, you had me at 'didn't have enough rust, so I had to make a little of my own'....:21: Bike is looking awesome! For a guy who has produced some very 'finished' and 'pretty' bikes, you are really cranking up the Rust-ifiable Rat-isfaction factor on this one!

To me, that shows your versatility, fancy and rusty....now for your next act....make one with both!

Thanks for the complements OJ !
I do like that worn hard look for sure As a kid growing up in New England in the back woods of Vermont. I was around antiques , rust and hand me downs .
Maybe that's why my last builds were so shiny . I think I wanted a new toy for once LOL. Anyway getting back to my crusty , rusty old roots on this one .[emoji232]
