I'm streamlining the content. This is the spot where I'll do updates that aren't really builds. All the stuff about previous builds will be here as well. Idle chit chat too.

Idle chit chat too.
Do dreams count? Why not! Just walked around the garage, came up with a little list of stuff I need to get done.

Norco (The Prince?):
Seat and post
Stem 60-70mm
Stem spacers
Grips (Maybe steal RockRat's)
Wheelset*
Derailleurs*
V brakes (cantilevers would work better with the cable guides*)
Bottom bracket
Crank
Pedals
Cables
*Ingola has parts for me, but they're not in my hands yet. Thanks buddy!

Daddy LongLegs:
Crank
Grips
Cables

Monolith:
Pedals
Grips
Shock

RockRat:
Shifters (probably solved, if I can stop being Mr Fussy Pants)
Grips (depending on bar end decision)
Cables
Crank

Brodie (Cornelius?):
Shock tune up
3x8 Shifters/brake levers
Red race face cranks
Pedals
Grips

Expect nothing to happen this decade. I am the Pro in pro-crastinate

I have crank and pedels to

Have a SRAM one here or the stx
Didn't I steal all the crank bolts from the STX for Monolith? It would match the derailleurs perfectly though...
Lemme take a look at them next time I'm over, the other specialized one I grabbed didn't have enough teeth to get the speed I crave

RockRat spent a little bit of time on the table this afternoon

Hit the stay with some rust check, and wrapped it in a strip of inner tube. Electric tape to hold it on, so you know it's quality
IMG_20231027_172153291_BURST000_COVER_TOP.jpg

Bolted some brakes on the new old GT fork while we were at it
IMG_20231027_172209939.jpg

This thing is so close to done. Might hang some derailleurs on it tomorrow too

Or I could wash Monolith instead

Hee hee hee.
Gearing was a little steep for mud. Momentum is critical to onespeed activities, wasn't able to build any in the slop. Better suited to gravel and speedy singletrack than grinding through muck. I'll have to get stronger

Dragged Duck Norris in from the cold to take off that ridiculous costume

But first job in the basement lab this winter means I have to clean up, there's a bike or two worth of clutter piled up there
IMG_20231222_164209121.jpg

But before too long, he's stripped down, makes a little bit more space, it's really crowded down here!
IMG_20231222_170025451.jpg

Now he's hanging from a hook down there, whenever I've got a bit of time I can get working on the ol' hoss. New tires, lil bit of grease here and there, maybe even open up the coastal for a minute. We'll see how deep I go.
And now, I have an instant muscle bike kit, paint and everything. just add bicycle

I think 5 cans should be enough

Can't go into the New Year with our dapper Duck in that dorky disguise.
Just got tires to do, and I'm going all out for the old boy. It's been so warm lately, I might be able to get in a ride this weekend
There he is!

Also, what is that stem?

Happy New Year!

If you mean the one that's on there, no idea, it is what Duck was wearing when new, I'd assume cheapo Chinese in origin. If you mean the suspension stem...

Its logo looks like JD Components, says Suspension Stem US patent on the other side I'd put it on RockRat, but I need a faceplate stem because of the closed loop on my handlebar
