So today early in the morning i read a post on CL in my city about a Huffy corvette for $75
went and checked it out and passed on it, Nice guy...
Then, my neighbor came over and gave me a card with some number for a metal scrapper guy scribbled on the back of it. I was selling her a bike, and she told me she would refer me to some metal scrapper guy if i gave her the bike cheaper
I then called this guy to come and check out what he had for bikes...He said he had a few mongooses...mongeese...whatever and i thought...poo, all multi speed crappers. I went and checked out the bikes, Saw a banana seat...got excited and he took me to his back yard. Got closer and saw the stick, Said How much you want for this and the huffy? He said make me an offer...and i said $20 bucks. Thats probably waaaaaaaay more than he would get from scrapping it anyway
so he got ONE awesome deal, and so did i. He threw in the blue schwinn which he wants me to customize for him...he offered me $20 bucks to start it...but i didnt want it...he was too nice and i didnt know when i was going to start it anyway.
His girlfriend had some AWESOME...just AWESOME prewar straight bar rat with the dropstand
i was freaking out when i was looking at it...it was so cool!
i am upset i didnt take a picture of it, but i will see it again...im sure
He will find me bike of this style, he goes out every day...not just garbage day...ill call him when i get metal too

Cool headbadge...and in good condition!

3 speed that looks like it shifts...but i dont know if it works
Banana seat with minimal rips
Stick that shifts and everything...So happy i found another one
The tires are in good condition...cool looking too
Then this huffy...could be a good project later
Really nice motorcycle bars
and some interesting grips i dont really like
This little schwinn has some nice parts...but i think they have to stay on the bike because the guy wants em(CCR...youll probably want the stuff, ill let you know...lol)
its COVERED in bondo...without hardening though
And for the other part, I got this huffy...went to algonac again

I held the sign up to cars going down the main road...
My friend gave it to me, he said hook me up with parts when i get them
Might give the bike to my girlfriend
ME and my friend both got bored...we had knives too
