tour of Missouri

So the tour of Missouri (professional road racers...ala lance Armstrong) is coming through our fair city. The town has been developing some new bike paths in the past few years to allow for community fitness, togetherness, yada yada. The lbs called me up and asked to have a family ride with a ton of cruisers that would open up a new bike path in conjunction with the tour of Missouri coming through. I want to get Levi Leipheimer on my 48 schwinn and prove to him what a real smooth ride is. How cool would that be. I would love to make it something that would draw some of you guys to come and ride.

Sept 11 is the race day. We are trying to get the city to get the bike path done by then so we can do something big to bring bicycling to the community by way of a family ride with a lot of press.
