I traded my 2014 Trek Excalibur 7 that I bought new for a 2002 Specialized. It was an even trade and I pity the person that ends out with this Trek. The shop could never make the new Trek shift. I wrote to Trek twice about my problems but never received a reply. The shop put on new cables and two new chains and finally upgraded the Derailleurs but it still wouldn't shift right. I updated the Specialized with disc brakes, rear brain shock, newer front shock and changed the gearing to 28 narrow wide chain wheel with a 11-36 nine speed. One front chain wheel. So far it is good. It has two different rims, and I will update those next to tubeless.
