Photos like that last one are what got me into old bikes in the first place. Way too cool.

(Edit) I just checked out the blog you got that photo from, and holy cow that's in my home state of WA! The shot of the "Flying Merkel" in Tacoma really got me fired up, as that's my home town! I'll find it, one of these days...

This is one of the greatest Photoshops I've ever seen. Looks legit, but unfortunately it's a faux.

1) Rider angle is too far over for a dirt road. Those tires would wash out in no time.
2) No dust clouds from either wheel.

He was more than likely taken from a boardtrack photo and placed into this pic of a trail.

They did a great job. Look how the shadow of the bike and rider shows dirt and stones, not just a smooth shadow.
