Ran across a few Western Flyers X-53 and took them all and made one nice one with all orginial parts, it turned out really nice, i might be selling this not for sure though just thought i would share and see what everyone thought of the finished project thanks OZ!!!!

One of the coolest bikes ever made.
I don't think there is a cooler tank out there than an X-53 tank.
Nice job.
 
Thanks! I had fun putting all the nice pieces on one bike to make it orginial.

that is my dream bike to own, let me know if you decide to sell it.

Hi Oz, Nice job getting an old X-53 rolling again. Your old X-53! Congats!
I picked one up a month or so ago and could use a few pieces. It looks like your tank would match the guard I picked up, but the rest of that bike is still for sale on ebay.
If you might have an an extra headlight or rear reflector or spear, please send me a pm any details. Thanks.
 
Very nice job. I have one I'm still collecting parts for, do you have an extra chain guard or a rear reflector and housing?
 
The X-53 is my favorite Western Flyer/Murray model.
I love everything from the awesome tank to the sick springer forks to the stylish rear rack!
