It was a long weekend. Over 1k miles in two days, 18hrs just in road time, but it made it home this weekend.

The things we do for our addictions. Lol! Nice score!

I made it out for a windy afternoon on my DJ bike yesterday. There was an Air Show at the Jeffco Air Port to watch in between laps. A nice little surprise!!🙂 The sky writing was quickly erased by wind & a bit hard to see🤷‍♂️. A great day for a ride!

You're telling me! 😄

I love every shot you put up of these Pump Tracks. I cannot wait to put a tanker of mine in one!

Thanks Robin! Glad you enjoy the pics since I'm addicted to them. Soooooo much fun & can't wait to get better at riding them. (Apparently I CAN wait to get a couple more bikes built for this kind if thing. Riding has taken priority over building. Addiction ain't easy!!)Truly grateful to have the highest concentration of pump tracks in the country at my door! (more or less...)

Took the Marin larkspur freshly built retro modern to work yesterday, climbs like a goat that just drank two cans of energy drinks
Unusual 8 sided top tube and 3 sided on top with round tube underneath down tube as best I can describe, super light and nimble, I think the bars are 760mm wide

Built this ‘62 Typhoon this week and took it for a quick shakedown ride when the rain stopped. Mostly good but the rebuilt 2 speed red band has way too much drag for my liking. I’m thinking of replacing it with a new SA 2 speed kickback like I have on my Colson or a 1 x 7 speed derailleur setup.

Duck Norris sporting a new set of bars courtesy of ingola (or maybe it was ingolajr. can't remember?)

I think these will stay for a while, they were too much fun. Decent comfort for cruising, perfect for an occasional off path adventure. Took it through a field or two, was able to forget what bike I was on. Felt like a small MTB or large BMX. Made him faster on path too

Those are great bars they were mine then @Ingolajr. Borrowed them then he bought him a Kona and he had no use for them

I was able to get in a couple hours or so at the pump track in Broomfield on a cloudless day in Broomfield yesterday. It was pretty crowded with unsupervised kids for about an hour but managed to get in some fast laps. Then it mostly cleared out to be able to let loose!:nerd:

Had to stop for tacos to refuel at my favorite place just a block & half due west of home. I get to smell that place any time my windows are open and they do great work!!:inlove:

I got in another good workout in Superior, or 'Roots' as I call it, yesterday to take advantage of another picture perfect day!

This is such a super chill place to ride and where @Karate Chicken Industries god me hooked. It doesn't really have a name other than being part of a park with pickleball courts, off leash dog park, some small dirt jumps, skate park & pump track. And I love it!! :inlove:

Did some longer trips on the Rustacean.
Changed the front bars and got bumsore.
I just found a hammock seat I will try soon.
