Where can I find ball bearings!?

I am in the process of cleaning and regreasing the 2 speed bendix s7 hub of my 1964 schwinn tiger and long story sorry I have lost the loose bearings that come inside it. There are about 11 or 12. Need to get more asap but not sure where. Haven't found anything online yet but wondering if my local bike store would have them? I don't know if they are a special size or not. Please help if you can. Thanks!

There are 11 1/4" loose ball bearings in there, go ahead and replace the balls in the cages too. Push out the old individual ball bearings from the cages and push new ones in.
Grade 25 is what you're looking for:

Uh, I'm sure this is not approved, but lost one of the balls out of a caged bearing in a coaster brake... Steel bb looked close so in it went. Works ok!

I have parts bikes for this very reason. About the only things I have to buy new are tires, cables, and handlebar tape.
