I don't know how your local market is, but out here in SoCal, I I could have bought a clean one of those for 350. The guy had started at at 450, but it didn't move. I had my early offer in at 300, but he wanted to hold for 350, which he eventually got.
A couple weeks later, an ad popped up for another one at 300, but it was a 100 mile drive for me, so I didn't pursue it. It went pretty quick. Out here, this series of Electra bikes seem to be a tough sell at 400 and above. At 300-350, they sell pretty fast.
Offer him 300, if you have it. Even 350 is a fair buy, considering the fact you just don't see the older Rockabilly's on the used market, much, and if you are specifically looking for one, you may not get another chance at one for a long time.
