The forks mount like a regular fork basicly. You use the bearing nut to hold them in place then put the top plate over the fork tubes and steering tube. The fork nut holds the top plate down on top of the bearing nut. Basicly just put the top plate between the two fork nuts. I have a few sets that are not as bent as these for sale for $150 dollars.

That's cool but I mean how are the two rods that go down to the wheel held to the plates?

They are welded from the bottom to give it a clean look from the top and so the bearing race lays flat on the plate.

Ah that makes sense then the top plate also clamps them down because the legs are on an angle. Very cool
