I chose a modern Schwinn Heavy Duti frame for my ORBO 2016 build off.
These frames have many advantages.
1. They are readily available from RRB member ind-chuckz at a reasonable price.

2. These frames use 1 1/8" headsets so you can bolt on standard mountain suspension forks.

3. If you want a multi speed hub and need to mount a rear caliper brake the frame has a seat stay bridge.

4. Frame uses readily available 1" (25.4 mm) seatpost.

I too bought one of these from Chuck, along with a cantilever frame.
This frame was intended for build off 11, but will have to wait awhile. I agree they are great frames for klunking, or customizing in general.

Chuck sells a lot of good stuff, I'm a repeat customer and I can tell you the worksman wheels he sells are awesome.
