what kind of brake setup do you have? thats one of the main things that im lacking from my bike and i have no idea what kind of parts to get.

On my Goose, I have the generic MX style brakes. They are knock-offs of the Dia-Compe brakes from the era. You can get both the genuine Dia-Comps as well as the fakes in many colors.
Fakes are cheap...find front and rear set-ups on eBay for under $20 total. The real deal cost over $200 for NOS sets.
The yellow brake pads I have are Tuff Wheel made pads. I think I paid around $10 for them.
