Good looking paint and frame!

Schultz, I like the Wald chain ring on the left, the curves match those of your beautiful frame!
Jawohl!

Decided on the wald chain ring

I had these pedals on my Shelby as place holders to make it rideable til I found a good set of old ones, they went back into the parts pile til now...

I bought this seat post from pork chop last year for my build off bike but it didn't fit the seat tube so I'll use it here

had these wald bars on my road master repop but swapped them for something taller and had them in the pile

they're 7/8" in the center so I got a BMX stem

and of course a Thompson seat and grips from Ian

I turned a cranbrook front fender into a stubby rear fender

and painted the inside the same color as the frame

I'm not sure if it will be visible when the wheel is installed, but little details add up [emoji3]. I also got the crank and pedals done

as soon as my wheels show up I can make it a rideable bike

Which tires do you have planned for this beauty? Nice touche' on the fender under paint...;)

Thank you! I'm gonna use the sun lite sandy beach 26x2.5 tires on here, a few guys used them in the last build off, they look good and they're inexpensive

I concur 100% on the tires!~ I was one of those 'few guys'....:hi:

They measure out pretty close to the 2.5 width, depending on your rims. And they ride great too. Are your rims black?

got my wheels! I ordered these from bicycle wheel warehouse, they only sell wheels, mostly high end road stuff but they have 24 and 26 inch cruiser wheels. I got black rims and hubs with silver spokes , they have rims in a bunch of anodized colors and chrome, black white or silver spokes, nipples in a bunch of anodized colors and you can choose Chinese coaster hub in black or silver, shimano coaster hub, Chinese 2 speed kickback like I got, nexus 3 speed or freewheel hub

its cold and windy here today so my test ride was short, I adjusted the seat and bars, and realized I had this thing geared way too low. Went back and swapped the 22t rear for an 18t (the only other I had) and it's much better. All that's left now is to shorten the chain, find a kickstand and finish a couple small details

SUPER JEALOUS!!!!
That is one sick ride!

Very nice! Love the frame paint color with the black on black wheels. I can't remember, did you try or think about a bobbed fender for the front?

When I look at your pic above, I kind of feel like a little chrome in the lower front would tie all your chrome bits together. Or pull the rear fender, because that contrast line between frame and wheel / tire is so defined and cool! My .02 cents.

This is a beautiful rendition of a high-end cruiser! Bet it rides great too!

Colson is a great choice for this build.

I've got a seat like that, if it's too springy, you can remove the front spring fairly easily.

Thanks for the input,I've built a couple other bikes with just a stubby chrome rear fender and never thought about it before, can't hurt to try [emoji4] the fender i used was a front fender, I chopped up the rear for a Columbia a couple years ago but I dug around in my junk pile and found the remains

there's just enough left! Stay tuned....

I've got all the details finished up, shortened the chain, put a bar end plug in the seat post

cut my head badge out of a beer can

swapped the silver pedals for some black ones off another bike, and made a short front fender

all I need now is a nice enough day to ride it a bit and find a background for some finished pictures
