I’ve been watching the views on this thread along with the “Tour de France“ since they both started. Since this is RRBBO#15 I’ve been waiting for the thread to break 15K Views magic threshold as it seemed it might make it there. For now Labor Day is complete. BO#15...15K views

I appreciate those who have followed this thread, as I presented my “Year of the Rat” Bike/Trike/Tractor, “TRIKE-TOR” rat rod bike interpretation. Thank you to @OddJob for the nickname suggestion. And thank you for the Likes, Views, suggestions, criticism, positive and negative, even the memes bordering on ridicule posted in this thread.
There were indeed many fine rat rod builds created in both classes, I’m sure everyone has their own way of determining what clicks for them.
I see mine has created some controversy which is sad because of all the negative stuff going on outside this forum. I like to think that this forum is a safe get away place to escape for a while. May need to look for a new venue.

Out for a late lunch today in old town. When we came out this sculpture caught my eye.

Trike-Tor’s roots...who would have thought?

There really isn't much I should like about this build, I'm not into old, rust, or tractors. I like sleek, shiny modern influenced stuff. It can be old, but I will figure a way to modernize it!

So I'm a bit puzzled as to why I became addicted to this build from the start. It was a great journey of you building, solving problems, and rebuilding. I looked forward to every progress post, seeing this come together was a highlight to each visit to RRB. You kept me entertained for 4 months!

In my opinion, this was the coolest, most interesting build of RRBO15.

Appreciate the props...congratulations on your Class 2, 2nd place finish. You Never know what’s going to click with people on this forum. I liked your Rat Fink photo. Also I thank you for your early design input in getting this to work.
For me I like the crusty aged rat rod look. With the exception of a couple of my builds, rust, patina, crust, dull, fade and doodads have been my signature. I’ve tried to avoid the shine. I think the draw of Trike-Tor might have been the “draw/color outside lines“ approach. Not sure I’ve seen my concept used in the forum builds here.
l’ll be interested to see if anyone else picks up on my contraption concept and runs with it. There is always room for improvement, I have another hood in storage.
Entertainment, yep thats what it’s all about, the votes are a bonus, just two short of my age.

I've enjoyed following along with you this summer. The finished bike (trike) really turned out great. Congratulations!

It could've just as easily finished at the top. You never know how the voting will shake down. I do know that 'shares' on facebook is a good indicator of how well people like things, and the Trike-Tor is killing it on the Ratrodbikes FB page!

BTW I don't know about you, but I'd be hard pressed to find a place to store a Trike-Tor in my garage! Maybe your next project could be a little barn in the back yard!:)

Funny you should suggest a barn in backyard. I’ve had an idea bouncing around for a few years for a backyard shed. Our garage is full of bikes and stuff. The goal is to clean out one side at least for my wife’s Mazda. Spent a week or so on final plans, did a site plan and specs. Scheduled a stump to be removed. Pulled a building permit today as the contractor. Have contracted with a builder for the turn key work. Should be ready before the cold settles in.

Taking shape

Final building code inspection sign off today. City code compliance Inspector happened to be a former student, small world. Started on some storage racks today. Should have done this shed years ago.

Great building!
May I ask, what are the dimensions, including height?
Asking for me...
