Hey all, Long time lurker here - I decided to join up now that a new riding season is starting. I live in Victoria British Columbia which is on Vancouver Island.

Yes, he is not pedalling backwards with any force - just moving his feet with the cranks as they turn that way when you roll backwards. It's a pretty standard thing you learn to do for trials riding. That guy is an insanely good trials/freerider.

I use pocket radios for riding since they, well, fit in my pocket. A Sony ICF-S10MK2 or Grundig M300. Batteries last forever. I keep looking for a decent mp3/portable speaker setup but can't find one that doesn't involve either dangling wires or mounting something on the bars... Has anyone...

I managed to reseat the cups and it's a bit better. I'm hoping it settles down with a few rides and won't need replacement. I realize now it's a quite cheap quality headset. Thank you for the replies.

Re: unthreaded headset question hmm... I'm pretty certain it's installed correctly. The star nut tightens up fine and the right spacers are in there .... but there still is some squishy play in the top cup/race part. I cant help but think its the rubber expander flexing... or maybe the top...

Does anyone know what type unthreaded headset design provides a tighter/stronger fit for triple clamp forks - one with a compression ring or one without? If the compression ring design is better, does it matter what material the ring is made of? (metal, plastic, rubber). Cartidge bearings? I...

I'm wondering if anyone here has figured out a good system for mounting a pocket radio on their bike. I normally carry a small FM radio (Grundig M300) in my shirt pocket or fixed to the bars with a rubber band - not the greatest but works. Anyone have any other creative solutions?
