This square always looks like a big tree canopied room to me. If you are not familiar with Savannah, it was one of the earliest planned cities in the US. The Oglethorpe plan started in 1733 with a grid of wards that each had their own square. This pattern was continued on through the late 1800s and we still have 22 of these beautiful green squares about two blocks from each other in any direction.

Adjusted the rear wheel this morning, then rolled with my cone wrenches in my pocket.
I only pulled over a couple of times at a park bench to tweak the rear wheel, then I had a nice ride around town. It was actually below 90 degrees, so not too hot at all.
The mooneyes and the new rear wheel did well. Now I need to explore my shifter options.

Here is a stubby shifter I have. I would mount it on either the seattube or the downtube

Or this tall shifter, which I could mount on the mid tube

I have this B&M handle that could be cool.

Stem mount is another option

Or this Project 346 shifter. It could be mounted under the top tube with the mechanism hidden in the tank. Only a thin slot would need to be cut where the right tank half meets the top tube.

Had to loosen the tank to test fit my idea.

Mid tube long shifter for my .02.

Downtube placement would likely be the easiest to conceal the cable for a clean installation. Running the cable from the mid-tube position might prove difficult. This build is turning out to be sweeter than saccharine!

What about the 346 shifter mounted inside of the tank?
