Yup, the brake cable runs through the left arm which has two fork blades on either side. There is a knarp attached to the cable that the blades catch and pull the cable. The arm hits a spring loaded arm that pushes a plate with the Park decal on it oder the indicator. Put the lever back, the cable is released and the plate retreats back under the console. When you pull the brake lever on the handle bar the brake engages like normal.
