,1960s Schwinn prototype.
Gainesville, Fl parade early in the last century.
The white building on the right is now the Hippodrome Theater which when this photo was taken it was the Federal Courthouse (and perhaps the County Courthouse). Around the corner (not shown) was Rice's Hardware where, for decades, Mr. Rice kept a high wheeled (Penny Farthing?) bicycle in the display window......
Can't help but wonder where Bicycle Center One was located.
Several other things stand out to me. Mom's clearly satisfied
with the bikes and the deal. The old man in the doorway is
Scandinavian or German, with huge hands. And finally, the kid
on the muscle bike looks like my brother before he got glasses
and this picture makes me hate him all over again! Issues. I know.
