I was so wrong about Cybertronic Spree...
I was in a few bands growing up since the age of 16 in the 80's. And this song is definitely a rock and roll classic format with a tip of the hat to Highway Star and a hint of Dashboard Light. There's no image of the band here but I know that female lead is hot and wearing a skintight leather jump suit and heels with an amazing blown out feathered hair style. I wasn't there, but I was with them spiritually in the basement when "John" the guitarist said, "Hey check this out. I was working on it the other night..." Yeah, cool. My guess without looking at Goggles, based on the solos is this was finished late 90's. Great stuff. Thanks for this one. I'm flashing back big time. You got my turbo heart pumping now! lol

Great story nonetheless, thanks for sharing that piece!Well they really tapped into the genre quite seamlessly. Fooled me but good.
Written and performed by Cybertronic Spree, 2022 ? They must've found a
reel to reel tape somewhere at a yard sale somewhere... About 15 years
ago, the band I was in went in to a basement studio, signed a release that said
if we did nothing with our tracks after so much time that they would become
the sole property of the studio. We laughed as we signed the notebook contract.
About two years ago I was driving along and heard one of my songs as the back
ground in a radio commercial. That blew my mind. I checked with my former
bandmates and know body knew what I was talking about. A few months later
I heard yet another one I co-wrote. Recognized the riff right off. Frankie reminded
me of the waiver and said Tony probably cashed in on the tracks we left years ago.
Almost famous! So, yeah... 1980 music released in 2022? Sure. Why not.

Spacegoat. The next greatest thing... for as long as they can keep it together.Great story nonetheless, thanks for sharing that piece!
The female lead singer is still hot though, I searched on google: 'Cybertronic Spree no costumes' and found that their other band is called 'Villainest'. I haven't listened to them yet.
I love that 80's classic rock. Sounds you hear in the stoner genre a lot now.
Probably shared it here quite a few times, but the band called 'Spacegoat' has incredible female vocals. A bit less 80's than Cybertronic Spree. Their music is classic rock / stoner with a few doom influences. Some songs are incredibly energetic.
Spacegoat - The Wooden Path (youtube link)
Great easy song, the chorus kinda reminds me of another more familiar song.
Spacegoat - Thin Line (youtube link)
This song is pure energy, love it!
I'll drink to that sir!Spacegoat. The next greatest thing... for as long as they can keep it together.
I love it, but I'm in my 50's and not part of a viable market. I hope the kids
love it too. That's where the money is. And marketing tee shirts! I'm gonna
blast Thin Line in the work truck today and see what it sounds like with the
subwoofer pumping and good levels. Maybe I can tweak my tinnitus. Then
I'll regret it later.
