It's made by Monark, so most probably 50's. There may be a plate on the bottom bracket. It'll have a serial number and model number that can give you the year.

The wheelset is ready to go to the shop for truing along with the wheel I swiped the hub from. The BMX bike will now be freewheel. The paint is drying, it will get clear coat tomorrow.

On this frame it looks like an upsidedown B and a square. It needs to be wirebrushed to be seen better.
