Thank you!Beautiful frame!
Thank you!Beautiful frame!
Those frames make pretty cool 'step over' bikes also.I just picked up another bucket list bike frame that could be a solid contender for the Step-Thru Build Off: a prewar curved seat tube Elgin!

I don't know if I'll enter this one or not yet, but it'd be a fun one to build for sure!
That they do. Decoluxe is easily one of your best builds, and the whole reason I wanted one of these frames in the first place.
Thanks! I hadn't seen this one before either. I got it and a bunch of other parts from James Allen, the guy who's been running the Springfield Bicycle swap meet and local bicycle museum for longer than I've been alive. He was selling it and some other stuff for the wife of a friend who's in bad health. I'll send you a link with all the photos I took of it this morning once I post it to my Fresh Finds thread.Cool! I haven't seen that one!

This looks very similar to my Firestone frame. Do you know what the brand is?
My frame is a little different, being it has the extra brace on the down tube. More like the bike Pondo posted. And I didn’t find any id #’s. Looks like it had a badge fastened to the bottom of the bb
I don’t but if I run across it again I’ll try to find out. This looks very similar to my Firestone frame. Do you know what the brand is?View attachment 277934
That was where the Monark plate was attached. That would have the serial number. My frame is a little different, being it has the extra brace on the down tube. More like the bike Pondo posted. I think the seat tube on Rosalin Drussel's bike is bent. Also what's up with the chain guard placement? Actually, the more I look at her bike, the more obvious it is that that bike has been ridden hard. She must have been klunkin' that thing! Here's some inspiration, most of these bikes are step thru:

I saw that chain guard too. The rear mount needs loosened and the guard slid forward to be correct.I think the seat tube on Rosalin Drussel's bike is bent. Love the Snyder that Jan Sterling is riding, and even though it's not a step-thru, Grace Kelly's CWC is super cool.
Forward and down. Looks like the front mount is on the top tube and not the down tube!I saw that chain guard too. The rear mount needs loosened and the guard slid forward to be correct.
