This is Lazarus, the 68 Typhoon which has been through so many iterations since I got it 10 years ago. It should have a big brother in a 62 double straight bar joining it soon.
My ‘98 Frankenliner got a mint tank, chainguard, 30” wide bars, Schwinn crank and a layback post this week. I painted the chainguard myself with ceramic engine paint and made the seat post from my last piece of solid stainless 5/8” bar.
First ride in almost a month as I have been recovering from the flu. I grabbed the Frankenliner for a blast to the bay.
Watched the go-karts qualifying for tomorrow’s race.
Some serious coin parked here. The race spec Lambo third from the right would be my choice.
Nice work. I had an Electra straight 8 with a sram 3 speed coaster hub which did the same thing. I never bothered to fix it before I sold it but read it had something to do with the grease the factory used causing certain parts in the hub to stick.
Thanks. Not my thing but cool to watch others build them. I'm out of frames other than the lord's bikes. Maybe I could have a crack at building one of them into a muscle bike.
