    My random finds

These weren’t hard to find, a friend asked if I wanted some 26 inch bikes he wasn’t going to usei missed having a monark so that alone was worth the trip for me Schwinn, some sweet 80s ish cruiser and something with a euro BB 😂I’m out of space again. But should be in for next summers build off

Been a while since I purchased anything but it’s Lincoln highway garage sale weekend and a neat old building is being cleaned out. He had a bunch! I only grabbed these 2

CLASS 1 VOTE HERE!!!! - CLASS 1 FINISHED BIKES

Took me a while to narrow down my votes, some excellent bikes! Felt weird not finishing my C1 build but I never really liked it

    Unoriginal

Never fell in love with this so saved the parts I want and sold what was left to a guy to put an engine in

Rode it to my buddies shop today to get a brake mount figured out. Another dead wald stem some melting was going to do a frame mount but this worked better for comfort. No time to rust it.sold off a bunch of bikes but got this one cozied into a space for now!

So today was last minute getting the brake lever mounted! But anyway it’s parts of 4 different ladies bikes, 2 20 inch forks and bad decisions with a buddy. It rides rather well if you’re careful on the pedal strikes! I failed to get the fender and cup holder done but I had to have it rideable...

Had to fix a sprocket my son didn’t bend (looks bent to me) so while I was down there I played with brake ideas some more. The nutsack brake was a no go 😂 but man do people stare when your riding this

My son called it the nutsack brake. Originally had it turned 90 but can’t reach it. Have to test ride it before I shorten a cable and housing. Might have to go with a more traditional handlebar mount.

Not much for progress, finally got some time tonight but had to fix the three bikes my kids had broken. Skiptooth chain still sucks! Anyway getting a rear brake for sure, the donor front brake may be salvageable as well. Just gotta tear apart a few calipers.

It’s not finished but I wanted to try out the handlebars and shifter location. Cruises pretty damn well as long as you’re careful with the pedalsdoesnt Need a kickstand! At the park about a mile from my house, both my sons rode it a bit. Brakes, maybe a bit more support in the handlebars and a...

Got the fork tossed on, the rust is a different shade but close enough 😂 bars aren’t rusting as quickly but getting close to assembling enough to ride it

Kids game was cancelled for rain, so off to work with harbor freights finest flappy disc . Few views of the wacky handlebars built from a ten speed handlebar, two cruiser bars, a 20 inch fork and a cheapo sprocket. Everything’s got a coat of salt, vinegar and dish soap waiting to rust. The bars...

Off to see my buddy Kevin again, few hours to kill on this fine Sunday. First step was lengthening a steer tube. Using an extra old fork and a piece Of a stem. Had to run home in the middle and grab hardware. My floor is dirty might have went overboard on the crazy handlebars but they position...

I have an older station wagon that I drive in the summer but is mostly used for burnout contests. You wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve been asked when I’m painting it. It gets annoying after a while!

I’m not out of bad ideas yet, maybe gears are the answer. Need to get it on the ground and check the stance. Building some handlebars next weekend! When you don’t care about the paint they make handy places to hang chain

Not really digging the springer stance on it, but don’t want to modify the springer. Originally planned to use the springer on a men’s bike. I do like the rake that a ten speed fork gives it.

Had to roll it out in the sun today for some visuals.Don’t have a set of handlebars I like but do think this is my favorite fender option. It does get pretty low in the back. My kid was nice enough to bash it into the step and bend it into the tire once already! Probably the best current photo I...

Got the springer on so testing fenders and a long while later I noticed something I missed. The bike is so long I have to stand on my basement stair for a photo right now. On the ground, fenders on and uncut. Decided to try out the original handlebars. Not a huge fan but I’ve done worsethought...

Got paranoid about needing to fab fender mounts, so it’s inside 😂 this is a men’s huffy fenderthese are off last years woman’s huffy and currently my favorite. Already really crusty and I won’t feel bad cutting them if needed! this is of course the original monark fenders, but I kind of want to...
