Definately Rollfast/ Snyder built frame - headbadge even looks like the Hawthorne ones. Nice find - agree with eagleeye, liekly a formula V bike.

GREAT find ! ... makes me sad I missed Carlisle ( for the first time in years ). I think I have a guard for that, would have to dig out and see how nice it is, lmk.

Will be watching this one very closely... I built one a couple years back as an even-lower lowrider ( see pic ). Just picked up a carcass (frame, bent fork,guard and odds n ends ), and not sure what to do with it, lowriders are not really my normal cup of tea, but had to build the first one...

guard looks same as the KHS badged Hot Rod bikes. Not really a bad looking bike, pretty steep pricing.... I've been wanting to clone one from a Bratz frame and BFK fork....

Not much more to add - We found a bike near New Munster, Wis, seller would not ship. Curious if any RRB members close and would be willing to help us out.

Thanks for the offer... will have to see about another hub. Not sure they did it or we did and I never noticed until we got it back, was hoping we could just make it ridable and leave be, since it will mostly be 'trailer queen' anyways ( I like to ride my bikes but I'm not riding on date coded...

The ten speed shifters, dual stick, did come in a single top tube version, I have two. I've only ever seen one of the 5 speed with drag brake versions,missed it on the bay 5-6 months back. Wonder how the brake version differs internaly from a 10 speed one.

NICE ! Grease and dirt can be a good thing sometimes, I'll take greasy old parts over rust any time. My 69 Fenderless was that way, totally filthy, and it cleaned up beautifully. amazing how the grime actually helps sometimes. (side note.not to hijack,but my 69 .. had the rear wheel trued...

That's a Huret shifter, it's the same as a Huret road bike shifter, and should fit a standard road bike (5 or 10 speed ) cable, just cut to fit.

I Think those are abs, i'd try a solvent cement, just need to be careful it doesn't attach the chrome, or get it hazy.
