Hello and thanks for the positive comments. I did some more mock up today and changed a few things. I changed out the stem, I thought the other one looked out of place. I changed out the wheels, I could not get a good chain line with the other set up, this one is way better. I know that some of...

Hello all. I finely got to work on mocking up my bike. Not without a few hick ups along the way. My sandblaster let me know he will not have time to do such A small job as my bike parts ( after waiting 5 weeks). The next thing was, the fork is split, so today I just mocked it up and had fun...

Thanks for the motivation Kingfish. I have collected a few more pieces. A NOS 27 inch rim set with a sturmey archer 2 speed kick back hub with a coaster brake. I do not know if they will fit the frame, it may be a good option. Also a flask and a brake lever set that goes in the end of the handle...

Waiting on the bead blaster I have been cleaning the shop and found some more hipster stuff. I will try to fit this crank and brake to the bike. I also may try to make this windy thing the speedometer. I also have been looking at paint colours. That’s it for now.

Thanks Kingfisher, I had to let the stem soak for a few days and then use a few specialty tools to get the fork off

Thanks guys, the crack should be an easy fix once I make sure everything else will go together. The seat may or may not stay. The direction is to a modern day fixie style. But as we know things can change. I think this bike started with a 28 inch wheel then someone made a KLUNKER out of it...

Great buil, 50 years from now collectors will be asking “ Has anyone ever seen one of these”

    DYNO-MYTE

It rides really wel, although it is very very heavy. I was not sure about the cast iron color on the mags, but with the chrome forks it gives it a hardcore industrial look. When I start a build, I wonder if the choices I make along the way will work. This one turned out pretty good. Thanks for...

The gaiters are just for show. I do not know how for far the stem goes into the tube, I would say not far as it is a short neck. Thanks for looking it up, I also had no luck.thanks

old race bike from the 80’s. Apparently it was an off shoot from the bmx world. I believe they called it formula 1 racing. Diamond back, hutch and haro made similar bikes. i can find no info on this bike. Please let me know if you have one or know of one. Thanks
